urm. — an abbreviation hereof?

The seeming abbreviation urm. occurs in bibliographical citations following page numbers; it seems to be used in much the same way as the English f./ff. or et seq./et seqq. to mean “and the following page(s)”. Accordingly, urm. seems to fit the sense of următor (“following”, “subsequent”), but, having no Romanian, I cannot be sure. Could a competent reader of the language take a look at the 1987 citation I added to Citations:urm. and determine whether my hypothesis is right or wrong, please? — I.S.M.E.T.A. 17:04, 15 November 2014 (UTC)

Yes, kind of. It is commonly found in the forms și urm. and ș.u., which are abbreviations of și următoarele ("and the following", "and the next"). Următoarele is the definite plural feminine form of următor. I find it quite weird that they didn't include the și. – Andreyyshore (talk) 09:48, 1 February 2016 (UTC)
