Apparently there is a "seedless" watermelon (not really seedless but the pips are smaller and white and you dont notice them when you eat so no need to spit pips out) I ate this on my breakfast every day in florida convvinced that I would continue my new diet on my return to the UK. However black pips crunch and makes it difficult to eat at all! — This unsigned comment was added by 195.93.21.1 (talk) at 07:15, 7 June 2005.

African Americans[edit]

Does this word also have a racist meaning? 94.211.61.173 21:06, 9 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think so, I think it's just a (racist) stereotypical thing that people say that black people love watermelon. That and KFC. User: PalkiaX50 talk to meh 21:10, 9 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Fruit or vegetable[edit]

Technically, according to some sources, a watermelon is not a fruit, but a vegetable. Just so you know...--Type56op9 (talk) 13:50, 19 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
