This looks a lot like a neologism, or at least a rather literal interpretation of the compound's parts. I think the word itself does exist, but its attested meaning is different. —CodeCat 17:03, 28 April 2011 (UTC)
- OEME has it: wordgecwide [] n (-es/-u, -gecweodu) verbal agreement; as does Bosworth and Toller: word-gecwide, es; n. An expressed agreement, a formal contract :-- Eal ic him gelste ðæt ic him scolde swá forð swá uncre wordgecwydu fyrmest wron, L. O. ii; Th. i. 182, n.
