That is a wrong spelling of zugrunde richten, see duden.--Bigbossfarin (talk) 10:17, 8 June 2013 (UTC)
- Where in that link does it says that zugrunderichten is a wrong spelling of zugrunde richten? Mglovesfun (talk) 10:27, 8 June 2013 (UTC)
- There is a section "alternative spelling" (Alternative Schreibung) and the term zugrunderichten is not listed. --Bigbossfarin (talk) 10:57, 8 June 2013 (UTC)
- So it doesn't say that this isn't a word then. Right. Mglovesfun (talk) 11:00, 8 June 2013 (UTC)
- It fails to say what we say, namely that zugrunderichten is an alternative spelling of zugrunde richten. The burden of proof is on us to show that the single-word spelling is an alternative spelling. - Keep. @Bigbossfarin: English Wiktionary includes words based on available evidence rather than based on what authoritative dictionaries say. Thus, the absence of the term in Duden is merely a hint that a look at evidence could be worthwhile. Relevant searches: google books:"zugrunderichten", google groups:"zugrunderichten", “zugrunderichten”, in OneLook Dictionary Search.; Google Ngram Viewer for German: zugrunderichten, zugrunde richten. The Ngram search suggests that the spelling is rather common. --Dan Polansky (talk) 19:37, 16 June 2013 (UTC)
