This template may be used to format quotations from the 1663 w:Eliot Indian Bible. It will automatically generate links to any given verse.

The template may be used with the following parameters:

  • |1= – the verse(s) quoted, in the format "Book X:Y" or "Book X:Y–Z" where "Book" is the title of the book (see index at bottom of page); for books with only one chapter, "Book Y" will quote verse number "Y", and likewise for "Book Y–Z".
  • |2=, |text=, or |passage= – the passage quoted.
  • |3= or |t= – a translation into English.
