{{lse|<language ISO code>|<stem>|<ending>}}

Precision link (to specific Language Sector) with different style for stem and ending/suffix (here in black colour).

l-s-e = lemma - stem - ending

See also Template:tlse for links in inflectional tables in vertical style.

Template {{link}} is called.

  • !! fonts should be normal (script Default is Latn @en.wiktionary). Not bad fonts like sc=Grek.

Usage[edit]

wikitext - ouptut comment
{{lse|el|δημοκρατί|α|g=f|ts=...|t=...}}
δημοκρατία f (dimokratía /δimokratía/, democracyw)
To Modern Greek. Automatic transliteration.
{{lse|el|δημο|κρατία|g=f|tr=dhīmo'''kratía'''|ts=...|t=...}}
and |e-weight=bold
δημοκρατία f (dhīmokratía /δimokratía/, democracyw)

or |e-color=Green

δημοκρατία f (dhīmokratía /δimokratía/, democracyw)

The same with {{l}}

δημοκρατία f (dimokratía /δimokratía/, democracyw)
My tr= is not visible and span style with color:Green is not allowed.
To Modern Greek. Editor uses manual transliteration
  • and a wikipedia link {{w}} in superscript in parameter translation.
{{lse|grc||-ία|g=f|pos=suffix|tr={{xlit|grc|-ία}}}}
-ία f (-ía, suffix)
To Ancient Greek. Parameter stem is empty.
{{lse|grc|λύ|ουσι|tr=-}}({{lse|grc|λύ|ουσιν|s+=0|e+=ν|tr=-}}){{lse|grc|λύ|ουσιν|s+=0|e+=0|tr={{xlit|grc|λύσουσι(ν)|t=}}
λύουσι(ν) (lúsousi(n), they untie)
Two words, twice the template. Automatic transliteration cannot be used. Separately, third template only for tr= with {{xlit}}, t=
{{lse||Δημοσθέν|ης|s+=Δημο-σθέν|e+=-ης, -ους|e-weight=bold}}
Δημο-σθέν-ης, -ους ()
The automatic transliteration is not possible.

{{lse|Δημοσθέν|ης|2+=Δημο-σθέν|3+=-ης, -ους|e+-colour=DeepPink|tr=-}}

Δημο-σθέν-ης, -ους
We could add {{xlit}}, but this is not for a specific language (Modern or Ancient).
Language parameter is empty = undetermined (link to top of page). Editor uses
  • {{xlit}} for transliteration
{{lse|el|σμήν|ος|g=n|pos=|note=|ts=|t=|lit=|flag=|quote=1}}
σμήνος n (smínos /zminos/, flock, noun, literally flock)1 This is my note.
All the automatic parameters of template {{l}} plus flag and quote (see the code).
  • Editor uses a nested {{l}} for the English translation.

top of page

  • the stem's colour is #000000, font-weight:normal (not bold)
  • the ending's colour is #000000, font-weight:normal

  • the link, with template 'link' {{l}}
