Documentation for Template:comma list. [edit]
This page contains usage information, categories, interwiki links and other content describing the template.

This template is used to display a comma-separated or semicolon-separated list of up to 24 terms, while excluding the name of the page in which it is used from the list, if the name appears in the list.

As of 2023 this template is only used within other templates. An illustrative example of its usage can be seen in the source code of {{list:mediagenic terms/en}}.

Parameters[edit]

|lang= (optional)

The language code for the language that the terms are in. (See Wiktionary:Languages.) This is passed to {{link}}. Defaults to und.

|gloss= (optional)

An explanatory message to display in parentheses before the list, formatted using {{sense}}.

|1=, |2=, ... |24= (optional)

The terms to display. If any term is the name of the page in which the template is used, it is omitted from the list. Each term will be followed by a comma unless the parameter following it is empty, in which case it will be followed by a semicolon. This means that | "becomes" a comma, and || "becomes" a semicolon.
