Usage
Parameters
Normally, call this template with no parameters, and it will automatically generate the pronunciation for the page name.
NOTE: The invocation of {{ms-IPA}} should occur on a line by itself. Do not put a bullet mark (*) before it. The bullet mark is generated by the template.
|1=- Phonetic respelling of word or phrase. Needed for terms that deviate from Malay stress rules (use a macron for the vowel), have E pronounced as /e/ (use é as hint), U pronounced as /o/ (in Johor-Riau pronunciation, and in Northern Peninsula pronunciation before any consonant except N and NG), Johor-Riau pronunciations that elide final R followed by lengthening of adjacent vowel (use vowel with circumflex) and pronunciations that do not correspond well with it spelling (e.g. teknologi, which should be transcribed "téknoloji")
|bullets=- Number of bullet marks to place before the generated pronunciation. Defaults to 1.
|a=- Accent qualifier, used to indicate pronunciation restricted to certain accents of standard Malay (e.g Johor-Riau, Northern Peninsula, Baku) or a dialect (e.g. Terengganu, Kelantanese)
|q=- Pronunciation qualifier.
