Soft redirection template for variant and non-lemma Chinese entries.

This template should be placed immediately under the ==Chinese== heading, or under each ===Etymology n=== heading if there are different forms to show for each etymology.

Parameters

|1=

(required) Page to be redirected to.

|2=

(optional) Type of non-lemma. The default is |2=s. Sometimes it may be auto-detected from the page that was linked to using |1=.

Full options include:

• Simplified form (s, simp, simplified).
• Modern variant form (v, var).
• Modern variant traditional form (vt).
• Obsolete variant form (o).
• Ancient variant form (a).
• Historical variant form recorded in one or more dictionaries (hv).
• Simplified and variant form (sv).
• Simplified and variant traditional form (svt).
• Second-round simplified form (ss).
• Nonstandard simplified form (ns).
• Pe̍h-ōe-jī (poj).
• Taiwanese Hokkien recommended form (trc).
• Internet slang (is).
• Erroneous or mistaken form (err).

|3=

(optional) Gloss for the page to be redirected to.

|simp=

(optional) The method in which the character was simplified.
