@AryamanA The template seems to be having an issue with searching entries which have a nuqta in them. For example here बर्फ़, I get a 'no results found' error after clicking on the URL.

Also, the template only seems to take the headword and not a specified one, for example here अंगीठी, in the references I specified the specific alternative form but it only shows the headword (tried to fix this but faced some issues so reverted the changes).

Can you please look into this? Thanks. Gotitbro (talk) 15:10, 28 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like the nuqta issue is not there (just the word बर्फ़ was not in the dict, temp works fine in शेख़ी for e.g.). The headword problem is still there. Gotitbro (talk) 16:06, 28 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Gotitbro: You can use |head= for a custom headword. The first argument is the page number, not headword. —AryamanA (मुझसे बात करेंयोगदान) 17:29, 28 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Aryamanarora: The template does not appear to be linking to the page number here ज़कात, it is just taking the headword even though the page number is there. Can you check what the problem might be here. Gotitbro (talk) 14:09, 2 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, I see that it just provides the page number and does not link to it. The DSAL provides the pages for this dictionary wouldn't it be better if the template links to them directly? Gotitbro (talk) 14:12, 2 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Word parameter[edit]

@Benwing2, AryamanA, Gotitbro: Hi. The template needs to take the desired word, not the page parameter, e.g. ग़ुब्बारा (ġubbārā) (with a nuqta) needs to pass गुब्बारा (gubbārā) (nuqtaless). --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 23:58, 15 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Atitarev: The head= parameter does that, fixed. —AryamanA (मुझसे बात करेंयोगदान) 00:02, 16 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
