Unlinking[edit]

Can we unlink nominative, genitive, plural, etc.? I think people looking at Proto-Germanic declensions know what they mean. They are distracting. --Vahag 17:34, 16 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you want, sure, but I don't see what's distracting about them. I just did it for consistency because we might want to link some terms, and not linking the rest looks weird then. —CodeCat 17:37, 16 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I want. Most other languages don't link those simple words in their tables, so I removed the links. --Vahag 18:08, 16 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Linking[edit]

Why don't we wikilink these forms? We can have these inflected forms in the appendix namespace, can't we? Since the forms are automatically generated and the search tool only search in the wikitext, they won't appear in search results, so it's important to create them. --Z 15:44, 22 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think we should create entries for inflected forms unless they are useful in etymologies of words. And I expect that most others agree, but you can always ask in the BP. —CodeCat 15:46, 22 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
We should do something about the search tool issue. --Z 16:10, 22 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think we can? —CodeCat 16:12, 22 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
We can request for feature or bring it up as a bug at Bugzilla, or create entries for these forms. --Z 17:47, 22 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
There already is a request: [1]CodeCat 17:57, 22 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
