Is it possible to add a parameter "diminutive" for adjectives as some of them may have diminutive forms? Noun templates has it already implemented. Thanks in advance ~Mihxal (talk) 14:53, 24 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Old dative

[edit]

@Hythonia, @Tashi, @BigDom, @Benwing2 @KamiruPL The old {{pl-decl-adj-ki}} template had something for the old dative, was this something we were saving? most major dictionaries don't, but if we want to we could probably easily include a parameter for it. I'm asking because Benwing is gonna replace all the old templates with this one, and we should sort this out first. Vininn126 (talk) 11:50, 31 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Doesn't seem worth keeping to me TBH. BigDom 12:32, 31 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
(Notifying Hergilei, Tweenk, Shumkichi, Wrzodek, Asank neo, KamiruPL): @Vininn126, Hythonia, Tashi, BigDom I converted the templates, but I kept the |olddat= param for now (which is already implemented in {{pl-decl-adj-auto}}). On some pages that have it, the old dative non-lemma form already has an entry, e.g. rusku, białostocku. This way, no information is lost; we can always remove it later if we want. BTW Some pages couldn't be converted, particularly those involving short adjectives, such as wart, pewien, zdrów, kontent, etc. On these pages, there is a declension table where the nom masc sg (and inanimate acc masc sg) is the short form, and otherwise the declension is of the "long form". Is this correct? If so we can add the appropriate support to Module:pl-adj. Benwing2 (talk) 04:26, 1 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Benwing2 That is correct, the list of "short form adjectives" is exceedingly small. Vininn126 (talk) 08:10, 1 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Unclear structure

Template:pl-decl-adj-auto Until I looked very closely, I couldn't figure out which gender(s) is hardego, which case(s) is hardej and hardą. The table cells have no borders, and this is a torture for a user to solve it. JWBTH (talk) 11:14, 24 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Fixed it with this edit. JWBTH (talk) 12:20, 24 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
