Request for a second parameter[edit]

I would like to see this template have a parameter for another WT:TR headline than the expression itself. For instance, sometimes a Tea Room discussion will involve more than one word. __meco 10:14, 7 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Done. I went with {{{fragment}}}, but we can change the name if need be. (This isn't a very widely transcluded template, so it's O.K. if we change it a few times.) —RuakhTALK 19:25, 29 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Question re removal[edit]

Should this template be removed from an entry once the link to the discussion goes stale? ie. once it gets archived?

Not sure if it's ok for me to do this. I don't know if they're meant to stay on the article for good or if they're meant to be removed once the discussion goes stale. -- OlEnglish 21:44, 16 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It's generally kept on a page when there's an active discussion only. However, we're more free-form with this template than other discussion templates. This one sometimes results in no tangible progress. --EncycloPetey 21:46, 16 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
