Edit-summary at Template:l, Template:t, etc.

For future reference: "" is not a helpful edit-summary. ;-)

(Also, this change should have been discussed first. I understand the rationale, but there're also definite disadvantages, in that browsers sometimes do strange things to text in certain languages. For example, in my browser (Firefox 18 on Windows 7), Japanese-tagged Latin-script text looks weird, even if it's tagged as Latin-script. Is it worth doing despite the disadvantages? Maybe. But why not discuss it?)

I'm sorry, I didn't realise it would break things. I can undo it if you prefer?

I don't think you need to undo it just yet; but I'd appreciate if you could post a message about it at WT:BP or WT:GP. (Naturally the end-result of such a discussion might be that the change gets reverted, but I think it's more likely that no one will really care one way or the other.)

I realize that you're in the habit of never giving edit-summaries, and habits are hard to change; but I'd appreciate it if you'd give it a try. Really, I think you should always give an edit-summary, but at the very least you should do it for all edits to templates.
