It's ok. Everyone has to start somewhere! We take our formatting very seriously here as you can see from the number of people that have already posted to your talk page. WT:EL is our main policy for formatting, but I can understand if it's a lot to take in at once. It can be very helpful to see what changes other people make to your entries afterwards; this gives you clues about how the entries should be written. One way to keep track of changes to entries is to use your Watchlist.

You can add all pages you create or edit to your watchlist (using the button "Watch this page" below the area containing the text of the page). This lets you come back to your watchlist later and see what others have changed since your edit. There is an option in the preferences, on the "Watchlist" tab, to "Add pages and files I edit to my watchlist", and another to "Add pages I create and files I upload to my watchlist". This way, you'll automatically have all pages you've done something to on your watchlist, and all you need to do is check the list periodically.

Feel free to ask me if you have any more questions!

Thank you! I'm so glad this community is so welcoming to young members.

It differs on who you meet, sadly. Some people have complained that it's not so welcoming. I try my best, though.
