Dzogchen: When I switched it from Tibetan to English, I get the Union Jack flying over ancient Tibetan words...doesn't seem right

Yeah. It's not a very popular feature for a variety of reasons. For one thing, it uses the flag of communist Yugoslavia for the Serbo-Croatian language, and we once had a huge fight over Serbo-Croatian which you can see here. The "Serbo-Croatian = Yugoslavia = communist, dead, genocidal &c." argument was one of the recurring themes and I think it doesn't help to reinforce that.

I didn't read it yet but I can well imagine. Does Jeff over-rule or does he just test people's determination and conviction? It seems like I am attracting vociferous opposition not just from him but from others who seem to think that they have it all figured out. I respect the really stellar work that is done here but it seems also that there are certain ways that they are set in regarding which they are not inclined to budge.
