[edit]Hello. I'm a new contributor to wikis. I am originally from the Buffalo, NY. I currently reside in Connecticut where I am a research scientist.
Education
[edit]I have a PhD in linguistics and phonetics from the University of California, Berkeley. My research encompasses all aspects of phonetics and phonology with a special focus on tone, prosody, and Oto-Manguean languages. I have done fieldwork on several languages, including Trique, Ixcatec, and Mixtec.
Languages
[edit]I speak 2 languages comfortably: English and Spanish. I speak French somewhat comfortably and Khmer somewhat uncomfortably right now (I've forgotten a bit).
