Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wiktionary. Thank you for your contributions. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here! By the way, you can sign your comments on talk (discussion) pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~, which automatically produces your name (or IP number if you're not signed in) and the current date and time. If you have any questions, then see the help pages, add a question to one of the discussion rooms or ask me on my talk page.—msh210 (talk) 20:06, 7 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

The entry you created at footnote show seems to have been a protologism and has been deleted. If you are sure that it is a real word, please provide evidence of its being used in durably archived media (mainly print works and Usenet groups) as required by our inclusion criteria. (For a term to be included, it must be used by at least three different authors over more than a year, and the authors must be actually using the word, not just explaining its meaning or stating that it exists.) If you can find any such quotations, please add them to Citations:footnote show. If you again add this entry without citations, it will likely get you blocked from editing further.—msh210 (talk) 21:00, 8 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
