szokott volt

[edit]

Hi, what is the reason you removed the pronunciation from szokott volt? --Panda10 (talk) 16:49, 21 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

I chose to remove it because it didn't clearly separate the two constituent words. Also, I thought it was not necessary since the structure is a compound verb and both entries have separate pronunciations.
I just looked up a couple of other examples from different languages and they do tend to leave the pronunciation in the article so I re-added it. Sorry for the inconvenience.
P.s.: And while doing so, I noticed that you'd edited the article before I removed the pronunciation. Sorry about that as well, I'm still not entirely comfortable with MediaWiki. :) 178.48.95.166 17:16, 21 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
No problem. The goal is to have an IPA section in every entry, even if it is an inflected form or a sentence-like proverb. The hu-IPA module will automatically separate words only if there are more than two words in the entry. In this case, there is no accent on volt in normal speech, anyway. The two are pronounced as one. --Panda10 (talk) 17:32, 21 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
