I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wiktionarian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk (discussion) and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~, which automatically produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to one of the discussion rooms or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome!

P.S. Your user-page says that you don't know Danish or Lithuanian, but you've been adding words in both . . . ? —RuakhTALK 22:11, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
- Its possible to know vocabulary from lots of languages. I check the definitions before I add them. Anthurium 02:01, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
Incorrect additions (corrected)
[edit]You added badiliko and mabadiliko as Swahili verbs, but give the entry for the latter as "plural". In general, only nouns and adjectives have forms that are "plural".
Please refer to WT:ELE for information about correct entry format.
- As an example of some of the formatting problems with your entries, see my edit [1] to the bottle caps entry. --EncycloPetey 00:31, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
Also, please do not create entries for languages you do not know. That is considered a very bad thing to do here. --EncycloPetey 20:22, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
- Entries corrected. Anthurium 02:01, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
Entries
[edit]Some tips:
- make sure you use ===Noun== instead of ===noun===. AF can probably fix those, but it's useful to have thinks like this in mind.
- make sure nesting is proper (i.e. ===POS=== and ====related terms==== sections underneath ==language== sections)
- categorizing entries is helpful, but please actually see what the entry is about before you categorise noun as an adjective [2] or add wrong noun tamplate [3] (note the irregular plural, bot would then generate the entry for non-existing word!)
- check out the categories inside Category:Computing, some auto-categorising context labels like
{{graphical user interface}}
would be useful ;-)
Cheers! --Ivan Štambuk 02:06, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
