Welcome[edit]

Welcome to Wiktionary! Thanks for your comprehensive additions to Estonian entries. There are a few small points on which they deviate from our standard entry layout:

  • Usage examples go directly underneath the relevant definitions, so not in a separate header;
  • The "Declension" header is spelled without final -s and requires four "equals" signs in a normal entry, so ====, not ===;
  • The {{der}} template requires you to add the language code of the lemma you're editing as the first of the two language codes, so that's "et" in every case when editing Estonian etymologies;
  • When specifying a category (e.g. "medicine", "computing") at the beginning of a definition line we use the template {{label}}, or {{lb}} for short.

If you like you can go to the page history of the pages you've edited so far and review my corrections for a clear overview of what is preferable, or compare with the page source code of other entries for examples of how to handle the code and layout side of things. Some useful resources can also be found on this page: {{welcome}}, which contains the standard "welcome" message for new users. There were no big issues otherwise, so thanks again for the good work. — Mnemosientje (t · c) 11:39, 24 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
