Welcome

[edit]

Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wiktionary. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wiktionarian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk (discussion) and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~, which automatically produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to one of the discussion rooms or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome! --Ivan Štambuk 20:01, 24 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Interwiki

[edit]

Hi, [1] - interwiki should be added for the entries with same title as English language entry. If you want to add a French translation of English sense, put it under ====Translations==== with French: {{t|fr|<french translation>|<gender m/f/n>}} - see WT:ELE.

Also, due to the abovementioned fact, adding interwiki is 100% automatable and that's what bot like Interwicket and VolkovBot do, much more efficiently than humans ;) Cheers!
