Latin "ungrammatical" forms[edit]

Are these forms attested? Should they be deleted? DTLHS (talk) 21:56, 18 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I've searched in a data base and it's only attested as a correction (like here): "Acer acerrimus, non acerissimus" (Beda Venerabilis, De Orthographia). In other authors up to then whether pulcherissim* nor acerissim*. But I thought, as it is nowadays a frequent error (of pupils and in the internet: https://www.google.com/search?q=pulchrissim*&oq=pulchrissim*; even in some cases of web sites that explain or teach grammar), I thought to mantain the article (that before was wrong, stating that this is the correct superlative) and to state that it's wrong. I think it could be good not only to put the right form, but to state in an explicit way, that it's wrong - in case of people that could have doubts.--Flo.bayer (talk) 08:56, 19 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
