Welcome to registered-user-dom! A word of advice: pick your battles. An all-out campaign of harassment could well get you blocked. When possible, try to depersonalize your points, and when you join a discussion, be sure you're joining it because of your opinion of the topic and not because of your opinion of the editors already involved. Anyway, here's our stock welcome message:

Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wiktionary. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wiktionarian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk (discussion) and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~, which automatically produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to one of the discussion rooms or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome!

pudding basin

[edit]

The second definition is a noun, not an adjective, and should not be capitalised (are you sure that it's not countable?). The adjectival form pudding-basin is also used to describe a "pudding-basin haircut" (though some people would say that even this was just an attributive form of the noun). Cheers. under the counter

[edit]

Hiya, please note this is an adverb. The adjective citation I just removed already exists at the adjective page under-the-counter. Widsith 08:00, 20 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
