User talk:Kevin Rector/Offline reports/List of Wiktionarians by number of edits
I wonder what's wrong with this report's generation? The last time I was able to load it, my "edit watchlist" page had over 3,000 entries (months ago) and I estimate it is close to 5,000 now (particularly since I can no longer edit it and remove items from my watch list without a browser crash.)
The ranking does seem to reflect other attempts at wiki* statistics. So I would guess the methodology was at least consistent.
The bottom of this list is very interesting to me. Seeing what people edit (when they have only 1-10 edits total) tells a tiny story about them. Also a good place to surf for vandals, one-time-spam-accounts, copyvio contributors and clear out cruft. Even more surprising is the number of really good contributions from the bevvy of minor contributors.
Thanks for the list Kevin! --Connel MacKenzie 04:08, 9 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- To answer my own question: this list is clearly counting NEW entries, not individual edits, nor edits to existing entries. Wow! SemperBlotto surpassed Paul G?! --Connel MacKenzie 04:11, 9 Jun 2005 (UTC)
