"A region of abundance surrounded by a region of scarcity." is not the primary meaning of the word (deprecated template usage) oasis and so should not be the first definition. Actually, I don't believe it to be a definition of the word at all - perhaps you could find some evidence. SemperBlotto 15:55, 16 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
