IPA for Czech o

[edit]

Greetings. You are switching o to ɔ, as in ˈorluː to ˈɔrluː. Can you please clarify what makes you think ɔ is correct or preferable? The sources I am using do not use ɔ:

Do you have any sources that use ɔ? Thanks. --Dan Polansky (talk) 14:38, 22 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Belarusian

Thanks for your corrections to the spelling of Belarusian words in PSl. pages. I'm just copying what Vasmer says, I don't know why he spells them without akanye... --Per utramque cavernam (talk) 15:46, 12 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

It's actually very easy, there is a site called slounik.org, where you can type in the russian word and then you get the belarussian translation with akanye. --Mighty Wire (talk) 15:50, 12 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Thanks! Do you speak Belarusian btw? --Per utramque cavernam (talk) 16:45, 12 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

No, but I speak Czech and a little bit of Ukrainian, which is often similar to Belarusian. --Mighty Wire (talk) 16:49, 12 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
