Welcome!
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wiktionary. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- Wiktionary Tutorial
- How to edit a page
- How to start a new page
- Our format guidelines (nicknamed "ELE")
- Criteria for inclusion (nicknamed "CFI")
- Wiktionary Sandbox (a safe place for testing syntax)
- What Wiktionary is not
- FAQ
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wiktionarian! If you have any questions, then see the help pages, add a question to one of the discussion rooms or ask me on my talk page.
Note that adding links like [[fi:networking]]
(as you did) is not necessary: there are automated processes that do that for us. But if you do want to add such links, make sureyou only link to the foreign-language Wiktionary's entry for the same word (not its entry for a translation of that word). For example, on the page radicand you would add [[de:radicand]]
, not [[de:Radikand]]
. I hope that this helps!—msh210℠ 18:36, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
