Welcome!

[edit]

Hi, welcome to Wiktionary. I hope you will continue editing and learn how our entry layout works. If so, please look at my edits to моїх (mojix) and мої (moji) to see how to format entries using templates. The templates not only look good, but add the entries to categories such as Category:Ukrainian pronoun forms. — Eru·tuon 02:02, 3 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Format

[edit]

Thank you! I just used the same format for the page someone made on the pronoun моє́ which seems incorrect due to your corrections. Is this a mistake? — This unsigned comment was added by Rian.finn (talkcontribs) at 23:28, 3 October 2019 (UTC).Reply

No, that page is find, but it looks like you copied the way the page looks (italics, links, bolding), rather than the templates that are in the source code. For instance, the template {{head|uk|pronoun form|head=моє́}} displays as "моє́ (mojé)". So you will need to copy the template usage instead. I'm not sure if the Visual Editor allows that, because I haven't used it myself. — Eru·tuon 23:46, 3 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hello, is there a way you could unblock me from wikipedia. I got blocked when I didn't do anything. — This unsigned comment was added by Rian.finn (talkcontribs) at 00:12, 5 October 2019 (UTC).Reply

Sorry, I'm just a lowly Wiktionary admin and don't have power on Wikipedia. I don't fully understand everything that got you blocked, but it doesn't seem to be nothing. If I understand correctly you tried to create an article on your own conlang. Conlangs only get articles on Wikipedia if they are notable – if other people have written articles about them for instance, or if other people besides you use them. So creating an article is not allowed, if that is not true. And they say that you used one account to write about a conlang, got banned, and created this new account to do the same thing. If so, that is not good. — Eru·tuon 01:32, 5 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
