Hello, and thank you for working on Mauritian Creole! We have pretty confusing formatting here, so I thought I'd give you some pointers to help you make entries that won't require clean up down the line. Please look at my changes here to the etymology. The first part is how all Mauritian Creole etymologies from French should be formatted. The second part with {{mfeetylz}} is naturally only for those words that start with z-. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 20:40, 29 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Some more tips:
  • Alternative forms should be linked (see this edit for example)
  • You also don't need to put in ---- except when there's another section below the Mauritian Creole section
  • {{der}} can also handle etymologies that come from multiple words! Look at this edit.
Please feel free to ask if you have any more questions. You can also see WT:AMFE, which explains some of our other templates and practices for Mauritian Creole. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 20:54, 29 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
