This word is a coinage allowed by the rules of modern english with regard to the use of suffixes. Its root is the latin sextilis, from which we get our modern english word, sextile. The suffix -ian gives it its adjectival form, and, by extension, can refer to a human figure as a sextilian [one], a noun form. The default gender would be male as the suffix -ienne denotes the female form, modelled on comedienne and equestrienne.
