inh+ etc.[edit]

Many people don't like these templates, please don't enforce them on other communities. For instance, I don't like them, and the Afar editing community (which currently, sadly, includes only me) thus doesn't use {{inh+}} and {{bor+}} in etymologies. You adding them doesn't benefit anyone. Thadh (talk) 21:46, 18 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I understand if you don't really like using {{inh+}}. However, what I don't understand is using {{der}}. Correct me if I'm mistaken (I'm sorta new to editing), but I believe {{der}} is not really used for terms inherited from parent languages by means of evolution.
I also didn't use {{bor+}}, I didn't even know that was a thing. TheUnableDerk (talk) 22:55, 18 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The one edit I reverted already had {{inh}}. But yes, you're correct, {{der}} is used when the term is not the same as that of the ancestor - often, a morpheme was added or deleted.
I hope I didn't scare you off by the way, just wanted to make sure that we're on the same page. Thadh (talk) 00:08, 19 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Non-lemmas[edit]

Please don't forget to start definition lines with a #, I just had to clean up your Polish non-lemmas. Vininn126 (talk) 16:12, 14 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Noted, I'll keep that in mind TheUnableDerk (talk) 01:57, 15 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
