Tsagali Import
[edit]I saw on Talk:Tsalagi that you were interesting in importing data to the Wiktionary. I could potentially help you with that as I have the capability to do cutom bot work. How is your data stored? It is in a database? If so, what flavor/brand of DB? You can reply on either my talk page or here. [edit]My database is in the form of a hypercard stack (Revolution 2.5), but I could be exported in a number of text formats. I would have to write an exporter. I have been experimenting with xml, but Revolution does not handle unicode well. Still, I think xml might be the simplest.

[edit]I don't know about hypercard. But yeah, if you got me an xml copy I could import it for you and save you from having to do it all by hand.
Also, I edited your article that was the Cherokee translation of abandon. Also, is the language called Cherokee or Tsagali in English? Also, where can I get a font to be able to view the Tsagali characters? Kevin Rector 20:45, 5 May 2005 (UTC)

[edit]Tsalagi is the word (spelling) preferred by traditional Cherokee speakers. It is the same word, but "Cherokee" is the English mispronounciation.
