Proto-Austroasiatic (AA) is the reconstructed form for the Austroasiatic languages.

Wiktionary chiefly follows the reconstructions of Paul Sidwell's reconstructions, including Sidwell (2024).

Harry L. Shorto's reconstructions, published posthumously in the Mon–Khmer Comparative Dictionary (2006, Pacific Linguistics, abbreviated MKCD are listed as Proto-Mon-Khmer.
