From (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Ancient Greek ζωή (zōḗ, life), a calque of the (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Biblical Hebrew name חַוָּה (khavá, Eve). It was the name of a third century martyr venerated in the Orthodox Church.
