This spelling was a product of the 1990 French spelling reforms.

Conjugation

This verb is one of a fairly small group of -re verbs, that are all conjugated the same way. They are conjugated the same as the alternative spelling, which has a circumflex over the 'i', except that the circumflex is dropped here.
