crock off (third-person singular simple present crocks off, present participle crocking off, simple past and past participle crocked off)

  1. (literally) To give off color pigments from mechanical action (e.g. rubbing)
    The green sheen on the surface is because of that painted box crocking off.
  2. (slang, intransitive) To die.
