double-book (third-person singular simple present double-books, present participle double-booking, simple past and past participle double-booked)

  1. (transitive) To book or reserve something for two people, when there is only space for one.
  2. (reflexive) To make arrangements to do two things at the same time, such that it is impossible to keep both arrangements.
