kontraŭagi (present kontraŭagas, past kontraŭagis, future kontraŭagos, conditional kontraŭagus, volitive kontraŭagu)
- (intransitive) to act in opposition, counteract (with kontraŭ or al)

Usage notes[edit]
Although kontraŭagi is shown as intransitive in the Plena Ilustrita Vortaro, in practice it is often used transitively in the sense of counteract or contravene.
