From (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Old Polish młodzież, from (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Proto-Slavic *moldežь, from *moldъ (young) + *-ežь. Equivalent to młody +‎ -eż. Compare Russian молодёжь (molodjóžʹ).
