From (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Old Spanish marauedi, moravedi, morauedi, from (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Arabic مُرَابِطِين (murābiṭīn, literally holy men), plural form of مُرَابِط (murābiṭ), a name applied to the Berber rulers of Muslim Spain.
