Etymology

From Proto-Albanian *en-prama, the second element of which is used throughout Gheg subdialects on its own, and is from Proto-Albanian *pramā-, from Proto-Indo-European *promeh₂- (last, rear part of the day).[3] Related to Proto-Germanic *fram, Ancient Greek πρόμος (prómos), Umbrian promom, and Lithuanian pi̇̀rmas.
