muck out (third-person singular simple present mucks out, present participle mucking out, simple past and past participle mucked out)

  1. (transitive) To clean the excrement and other rubbish from the area where an animal is kept, such as a horse stable or a dog kennel.
    Could you muck out Toby's stable, please?

Usage notes

  • The object can be placed before or after the particle. If it is a pronoun, then it must come before the particle.
