Compare Pangasinan bulawen, Kapampangan bulaun, Hanunoo bur-awon, Central Bikol hamurawon, Aklanon hamue-awon, Hiligaynon hamul-awon, Waray-Waray hamurawon, Maranao molaon, and Tausug hamulawn. Doublet of mulabe. See also hamuraon.
