[edit]Borrowed from English museum, Italian museo, German Museum, Polish muzeum, and Russian музе́й (muzéj), from Latin mūsēum.[1][2] Compare French musée, muséum, Spanish museo, Portuguese museu. Doublet of mozaiko.
