Compare Persian ناز (nâz) and ناز کردن (nâz kardan).

Verb

naz etmək

  1. (intransitive, courtship) to play hard to get, to be coy
  2. (intransitive, by extension, figurative) to initially refuse from agreeing to something one is internally willing to do in order to get attention or negotiate a better deal
  3. (intransitive, in a broader sense) to take visible actions towards getting someone's sympathy and liking
