From late (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Latin pericranium, from Hellenistic (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Ancient Greek περικράνιον (perikránion), noun use of the neuter form of περικράνιος (perikránios, “around the skull”), from περί (perí, “around”) + κρανίον (kraníon, “skull”).
