Etymology

Origin uncertain. Possibly from (deprecated template usage) [etyl] German Trage, or through a (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Lua error in Module:parameters at line 333: Parameter 1 should be a valid language or etymology language code; the value "sla" is not valid. See WT:LOL and WT:LOL/E. intermediate. Another possibility is (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Italian targa, or less likely Ancient Greek *τάργη (*tárgē), from ταράγνη (tarágnē) or Latin tragula.

Noun

targă f (plural tărgi)

  1. bier, litter, stretcher
