[edit]From Proto-Albanian *tsambrā, from Proto-Indo-European *(s)ḱh₂emb- (“bent, crooked”) (compare Ancient Greek σκαμβός (skambós), Old Irish camm, Swedish skimpa (“to hop”)).[1]
