From (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Proto-Albanian *tull-, from (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Proto-Indo-European *teu(H)-(lo-) (to swell). Cognate to Ancient Greek τύλος (túlos, torus, wale) and Latin tullius (swell, flood, gush, jet), Middle High German dolle, dulle (foliage) and Swedish tull (pine cone).[1]
